Through strategically planned communication, we add value and strengthen the reputation of our clients and partners.

ABOUT US

NC3 is a strategic communications consulting company specializing in corporate communications, public affairs (PA) and public relations. We advise clients on managing complex communication challenges effectively and help them carry out broader communication activities with all key stakeholders.

Stakeholder groups are becoming increasingly heterogeneous and complex as relationships between them and organizations rapidly change. Consequently, communication is becoming one of every organization's central strategic business functions. The latter requires strategic planning and effective management of communication activities, requiring specific skills and tools that are proven and deliver results.

As strategic communication specialists, we know how to recognize and understand the business and strategic challenges of organizations. And more, how to translate them into effective communication activities that directly impact the realization of strategic goals.

why NC3?

We are a group of senior business and communication consultants with a total of several decades of experience in the fields of corporate and public communications. In the past, the core of the consulting team has led the most complex communication projects in Slovenia and the South-Eastern Europe (SEE) region.

We have strong reference portfolio from collaboration with many MNEs and domestic blue chips, as well as governmental organizations and NGOs. We are particularly distinguished by the so-called domain expertise from many business sectors (energy, telco and ICT, financial sector, industry, pharmaceutical industry etc.) and excellent knowledge of the local stakeholder environment, which greatly affects the efficiency of cooperation and the high quality of the services we provide.

The art of communication is the language of leadership.

Corporate communications

Every organization has its unique DNA and mission. Still, for all of them, managing the organization's reputation has a tremendous impact on the business performance, the ability to provide (public) services or product sales, as well as the long-term viability of the business.

Therefore, strategic reputation management is at the core of corporate communication and includes activities related to the long-term strengthening of reputation in the domestic or international environment, as well as the identification and management of short-term risks that may originate from the external or internal environment.

Public Affairs (PA) and campaigns

Organizations do not exist and operate in a vacuum but in a specific local, national, regional and global environment. And with a multitude of external stakeholders whose activities have a strong indirect or direct impact on the success of operations, profitability or even the very existence of organizations.

Long-term successful organizations not only know how to identify key external (governmental, non-governmental, media, etc.) stakeholders but also establish effective communication with them, which positively impacts the wider business and solves specific or socially relevant topics and initiatives. The same applies to governments and government institutions, which have recently faced a decline in trust in society and need effective public campaigns to achieve the desired goals.

Media relations

Despite the advent of new digital channels in the form of social networks, the media still influence and shape public opinion the most. Therefore, corporations, governments and NGOs must know how to strategically manage relations with the media, to cultivate relations with editors, journalists and media associations.

To this end, we help organizations develop and execute relevant public topics and stories that support strategic, business or organizational goals and address consumers or individual stakeholder groups. In doing so, we rely on our professional expertise and, if necessary, a more comprehensive network of external partners with in-depth industry-specific knowledge and experience in journalism.

We advise clients in preparing a communication strategy and media appearance and actively help realize planned media activities through online or offline channels, events, etc.

Crisis communications

Crisis communication begins with good preparation because once we are in a crisis, there is usually no time for strategies and communication plans. That's why we help companies with the identification and proper preparation for crisis communication, including creating manuals for such situations, response exercises and public speaking training.

In the active phase of crisis communication, which is most often related to natural and work accidents and one-off events that cause significant reputational damage to the organization or management, we stand by you 24/7 and 365 days a year. We know how to advise and steer the crisis communication and provide implementation assistance in communication with internal and external publics, relations with the media in the form of public events (press conferences, interviews, public appearances) and other necessary communication support.

We are guided by numerous practical experiences that confirm that effective and clear communication can decisively contribute to calming and stabilizing the situation (as opposed to uncoordinated and sporadic communication, which can only worsen the situation).

Market analysis and monitoring

In an ideal situation, everyone would make business decisions only based on reliable data and analysis. Of course, there is no perfect world. Still, nevertheless, we know that quality processed data, analytical reports and specific knowledge of local environments can significantly contribute to the quality of decisions made.

Our ongoing monitoring and reporting services include online and offline sources of information on economic policy, political conditions and scenarios, legislation, competitors, regulatory environment, potential risks and information on key stakeholders in a specific branch or industry. We provide services both in Slovenia and the region of South-Eastern Europe (SEE), and wider through the affiliate partner network.

M&A Communication support

Alignment is critical in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), not only on a strategic business level but also in communication with all stakeholders in terms of content and time. All too many takeovers and mergers have failed in the medium and long term precisely because of miscommunication and the risks that can arise from it. It is precisely for this reason that it is common for trusted external communication partners to take an active role in such processes, who can help manage the processes in a way that will not unnecessarily burden the management of companies or organizations.

At the same time, enabling all key processes to run smoothly to pursue common interests. We pay special attention to communication with the internal publics, as they (apart from local communities) are the most sensitive to changes. This type of communication requires additional preparation and a good strategy, primarily at the level of communication goals and channels – the key is that authentic information reaches each employee on time.

Internal communication & culture

Employees and other internal stakeholders are central to employee commitment, motivation, work efficiency of internal organizational units and teams, and the ability to develop and retain talent. Business results and other strategic indicators reflect all of the above. Therefore, it is necessary to pay adequate attention to the area of internal communication, to plan it strategically, just like communication with the external publics, and to be consistent in the execution of the set activities.

Internal communication needs differ significantly, so proper guidance can save a lot of time and resources while at the same time optimizing planned activities adapted to the company's needs and industry specifics. As consultants, we help in these processes, as we have experience operating in larger business systems and smaller, more agile groups and ventures in the growth phase.

Leadership communication

Managers at all levels are exposed to various forms of communication daily, from conducting conferences and meetings to communicating with internal publics or business partners, etc. This means management communication is far from just media relations or public speaking but is significantly broader.

This is where the need to acquire additional specific public speaking skills, training and scenario play for several levels of leaders in the organization arise, as well as strategic planning and management of the media appearance of the most exposed leaders in the organization, as they, with their own personal brand, also significantly shape the public image of the entire organization.

For our clients, we conduct public speaking training (in groups or individually), prepare communication plans and guidelines for managers for more effective communication with all stakeholders, run coaching programs and ensure the effective implementation of set activities.

CULTURE

Values shape and define the culture and identity of the company. This is reflected in the way of behavior, decisions, and actions of everyone within the organization. They create interpersonal and business relationships and form a common language and framework for decision-making.

In NC3, values are not just words on paper but the foundation of our operation, culture, and ultimately, success. They are the core of our being and the compass we follow.

Curiosity

We constantly seek new solutions and paths. We do not rely on saying "we've always done it this way," but with creativity, resourcefulness, and optimization, we strive for process improvements that ensure outstanding results.

Integrity

When in doubt about whether something is right or not, it's not enough to just check the legality of the action; legitimacy is also important. We acknowledge the responsibility of our work, so our moral compass, along with legality, also includes high ethical principles and integrity. If you are unsure whether you are doing the right thing or not, ask yourself if you would be proud of your actions if you presented them to your family members at home.

Trust

Mutual trust is crucial in relationships, so we carefully nurture it. In our operations, we aim for good and transparent relationships, which are the foundation for building trust and reputation, both our own and that of our clients.

Creating Value

We don't work just for the sake of working, as in that case, we could do many other things. We work because we believe we can contribute to creating value for our clients and partners. New value that is measurable and tangible because even reputation can be measured and managed.

Forward

Just as in life, in business, things don't always go as planned. But if we fall, we try to fall forward. And get up as soon as possible. And learn as much as we can so that in the future, we can avoid similar situations, but most importantly, constantly grow and improve.

Respect

One of our central values is respect. Toward colleagues, clients, and partners. We believe in creating an environment where each individual is valued, heard, and respected.

PARTNERS

"One size fits all" is rarely the right mantra, given the challenges' complexity and the solutions' resulting specificity. That's why our partners are here, who are the best in their fields. Hence, it is worth looking at the challenges from several angles.

We believe in solid and professional partnerships. To add value to our joint clients, who get both the highest possible quality of consulting and implementation servic eand a broader view of challenges and possible solutions.
